**Sales Manager Africa at Siemens Energy**
You are a passionate sales professional with experience in power generation technology and industry. Together with the Hub Africa Sales teams and the Bid teams, you manage winning strategies for Gas Turbine opportunities to realize our sales targets on the African continent.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Work together with all relevant stakeholders in Gas Turbine business and pro-actively drive our Africa business
- Collaborate and support our regional business development teams in lead management and opportunity development
- Support and consult in influencing technical specifications and customer decisions
- Define development-, bid-, and winning-strategy of assigned Gas Turbine opportunities
- Lead the bid team in preparation of firm proposals and manage the bid process, customer negotiations, and be responsible for handover to the project execution team
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in Africa
- Update market trends and customer requirements for product developments and competitive Power Generation offerings
- Contribute to the decarbonization of the Energy Sector in Africa by optimizing the energy efficiency of Gas Turbine Plants and ensuring future readiness for Clean Energy, e.g., H2 readiness, Carbon Capture
- Fulfill the sales target and exceed the expectations
**What You Bring***
- 5+ years of experience related to Project Development, Technical Consultancy, Sales and Proposals in the Power Industry
- Engineering Bachelor’s degree or above, Masters’ is a plus
- Extensive experience in Power Generation market dynamics and insights into African market specifics
- Good understanding of power generation business cases
- Expert in CRM and Sales tools & methods incl. Sales planning and reporting
- Strong team player and influential collaboration expert with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good command of English; French and/or German is a plus
- Resilience to succeed under African market conditions
- Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
- Driving license (ZA: Code 08 driving license)
