KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

POSITION DETAILS

**OUTPUT 1**: PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Create project structures for stakeholders including timelines, project plans, tasks, team responsibilities and status reporting.

Regularly update, review, and amend actions on the companies Project Management system (e.g. ProofHUB ).

Support in the delivery of consultancy and analysis for projects, implementing opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and enhancement to deliver business process improvements, stakeholder satisfaction, cost reduction and revenue growth.

Develop reports and analytics to drive project improvements.

Support testing of processes against agreed specifications, corporate standards and make recommendations for process/ procedural improvement.

Delivery of projects (including all key milestones) on time, within budget and to agreed quality criteria from concept through to market launch.

Responsible for the set-up and management of project governance, scope, risk and issues, compliance, resource planning and reporting

Reporting progress, the identification of key risks and issues, and their escalation

Responsible for removing barriers and risks through problem-solving, negotiation, open communication, and direct influencing of stakeholders within the project.

**Excellent communicator of plans and information**: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques and communicating this to audiences.

Uses knowledge of best practice and project management to work effectively with peers across the business.

Keep abreast of business and public needs to ensure project relevance.

Establish and maintain a strong network of experts.

Act as spokesperson on projects as and when needed.

Be able to produce factual, concise, and well-written reports.

Provide project specific research of a high quality.

**OUTPUT 2**: PROJECT PLANNING

Identify relevant/ pertinent objectives when planning projects.

Evaluate progress of project and objectives regularly

**OUTPUT 3**: TEAM MANAGEMENT

Support, guide, and supervise the assigned support team.

Understanding and management of team dynamics and encouraging good relationships

Understanding and management of good relationships with the companies operations team

4. POSITION INPUTS

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Minimum 5 years’ proven Project Management experience

Proven experience in a leadership position.

Proven experience in financial management

Degree in a business, finance or related field required. A legal degree is advantageous.

Experience in the civil society space advantageous.

**Knowledge**:
Sound working knowledge of applicable legislation and terminology.

An excellent understanding of processes.

Exceptional project management skills.

A sound understanding of financial management principles.

Proficiency in relevant software packages e.g., Microsoft Office, Project Management etc.

**Skills**:
Excellent networking and communication skills

Strong capabilities in mobilizing and building support amongst a wide range of stakeholders.

Leadership skills

Financial report analysis skills
