To Optimize headcount resources to ensure maximum utilization of colleague’s time while maintaining a strong structure and foundation that will reflect client centricity, in line with Absa’s Strategy

**Job Description**:
Outputs to deliver this accountability:

- Contribute to a culture conductive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Absa’s culture building initiatives
- Support and encourage staff to participate and support corporate responsibility initiative
- Achieve operational excellence by supporting the implementation of business optimization improvement through team engagement. Encourage teams to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge
- Analyze headcount for increased productivity to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Mentor and coach staff on identified performance gaps by discussing these performance gaps and agree on appropriate action to be taken
- Optimize headcount full time equivalent through refreshed calculations to ensure correct capacity in all different areas of the business
- Create monthly strategic reports for Managers and Executives and make recommendations on improved operational practices
- Attend monthly Manco meetings and present Workforce performance and sustainability metrics
- Guide and assess multi-skilling strategy and targets and measure the performance of plan vs actual
- Support Leaders with forecasting of business volumes
- Support Leaders in performance discussions
- Facilitate/Support weekly Workforce Meetings

Education and Experience Required:

- Matric/Grade 12/ National Senior Certificate
- Advance Diploma/National 1st Degree
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to synthesize the team’s info into recommendations presented to Stakeholders, and deliver oral and written reports to the Leadership team
