Facilities Manager

This well-established estate in the Cape Winelands is searching for an experienced **Facilities Manager **to join the team.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all company facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities.
- Lead and manage new infrastructure projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of contractors and
- stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
- Manage property leases, contracts, and tenant relationships for all company-owned or leased properties.
- Oversee security measures for all facilities, including surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response protocols.
- Review, adapt and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees and assets.
- Implement and oversee health and safety management protocols specific to a hospitality property, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Manage a hospitality maintenance team responsible for maintaining the upkeep of guest-facing areas and amenities.
- Oversee IT network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems.
- Responsible for developing and overseeing the property budget and providing reports on facility management, water, waste, renewable energy, and electricity consumption objectives.
**Requirements, Experience and Qualifications**:
- Appropriate qualifications in facilities and project management.
- Proven track record and expertise in facilities and property management systems and practices.

- Hospitality maintenance and best practice
- IT infrastructure planning and management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills in managing teams and engaging an extended stakeholder group.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and Teams, facilities management software, security systems, project management tools, and IT infrastructure management tools.
- Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
