**Specific Role Responsibilities**:
**GENERIC JOB OUTPUTS**

**PROCESS**
- Conduct research and gather data to provide input to operational reporting and decision making processes.
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities/technologies which could result in better operational processes.
- Advise on and ensure the accurate use and dissemination of area specific marketing and communication material; verifying the outcome of messages.
- ** **Assist in the development of a competitive marketing brand portfolio to achieve market share andprofit targets.
- ** **Assist in the formulation of annual brand activation and communication plan
- Coordinate and monitor the performance of marketing activities in order to deliver against planned initiatives.
- Develop and deliver highly targeted, well-planned, coordinated and integrated marketing campaigns through optimal use of best technology and platforms.
- ** **Develop, align and implement a departmental/tactical strategy and associated policies and guidelines.
- ** **Ensure return on investment on all marketing campaigns and expenditure with a quantifiable increase in brand awareness and market share.
- Ensure that marketing material, media announcements and standard documentation are legally sound, meets business needs and comply to importer specific requirements and standards.
- Implement corporate governance and compliance policies to identify and manage risk liability.
- Measure the delivery of operational plans, realign and improve where required.
- ** **Work with key stakeholders in Planning and execute digital marketing campaigns, both in support of traditional as well as standalone digital campaigns.

**FINANCE**
- Develop and manage functional budget.
- Develop, implement and monitor a cycle of medium term cost improvements.
- Ensure effective and efficient administration of operational costs within budget and identify areas of financial risk.
- ** **Implement and monitor financial controls, governance and compliance protocols.

***CLIENT**
- Develop and manage sustainable relationships with customers that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence.
- ** **Plan and deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to exceed customer' expectations in the business.
- ** **Prepare service delivery excellence plans for customers and ensure implementation.

***PEOPLE**
- Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition.
- Develop and implement change management initiatives.
- Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.
- ** **Lead and manage team by providing meaningful context to daily activities, setting performance standards and educating the team on policy and process.
- ** **Own and live up to company values.
- Prepare and implement people capacity plans in line with service delivery, performance objectives and budget.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum Qualification**

Bachelors Degree

**Minimum Experience**

5 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least 2 - 3 years' supervisory / team lead experience

**Skills and Personal Attributes**:
Industry legislative compliance/ knowledge
