Job Overview:
As a Wine Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the winery's sales and enhancing its brand presence. You will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, exploring new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional wine experiences to visitors. Key Responsibilities:

- **Sales Strategy**: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize wine sales. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including restaurants, retailers, events, and direct-to-consumer channels.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Provide tailored wine recommendations based on client preferences.
- **Wine Experiences**: Coordinate and conduct wine tastings, tours, and events for visitors. Create memorable wine experiences to enhance customer satisfaction and promote brand loyalty.
- **Product Knowledge**: Have an in-depth understanding of the winery's wine portfolio. Effectively communicate the unique qualities and stories behind each wine to customers.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue generated. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences. Provide feedback to management to enhance wine offerings and stay ahead in the market.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional initiatives. Participate in wine shows, tastings, and industry events to expand the winery's reach.

**Requirements**:

- Wine Enthusiast: A passion for wines and a deep understanding of winemaking processes. WSET certification or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
- Sales Expertise: Minimum of 3 years' experience in wine sales, preferably within a winery or wine-related industry. Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients. A natural networker with excellent communication skills.
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Ability to influence and persuade potential clients effectively.
- Customer Focus: Customer-centric approach, ensuring personalized service and tailored wine recommendations.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales-related tools.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
