**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain QuickBooks, supporting documents and financial records in line with internal controls
- Support accounts payable activities including Expense Reports and Invoice payments and ensure that all CHAI financial obligations are properly attended to on time
- Review of all USG notifications NOFO’s that are relevant to CHAI
- Preparing of VAT reconciliations monthly
- Manage Petty cash administration, physical cash counts and reconciliation
- Supporting all audits preparations
- Prepare carbon footprint report
- Assisting with Finance onboarding and support pre-award assessments
- Overseeing of asset register
- Managing of compliance register and documenting compliance meetings
- Coordinating of travel arrangements (flights, hotel bookings and car hire), reconciliation of supplier accounts and posting of all payments on quickbooks
- Management of CHAI Pretoria reception (welcoming and assisting of guests) and general office space in conjunction with the Office Administrator
- Other responsibilities as requested by manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance or related field
- Good problem solving skills, analytical capability and quantitative skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work independently and flexibly with a strong commitment to excellence
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
