**East Africa Specialist/Reservationist (Junior to Senior Levels)**

Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Are you an expert in crafting unforgettable experiences in the heart of East Africa, particularly Tanzania? Join our clients esteemed luxury lodge collection as an East Africa Specialist/Reservationist and play a pivotal role in curating exceptional journeys for their guests. We are currently seeking individuals at various experience levels to join our clients team in Cape Town.

**Responsibilities**:

- Tanzania Reservations:

- Specialize in handling reservations specifically related to Tanzania, including safari lodges and unique experiences.
- Leverage your knowledge of Tanzania's attractions and travel logistics to provide expert advice to guests.
- Reservation Management:

- Handle guest inquiries and reservations through various channels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Guest Services:

- Provide personalized assistance to guests, embodying the luxury and uniqueness of East African experiences.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and showcase in-depth knowledge of East African destinations.
- Sales Support:

- Promote lodge services, Tanzania-specific packages, and special offers to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell East African amenities and experiences.
- Data Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of reservations and guest information, with a focus on Tanzania-specific details.
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in reservations, with a specialization in Tanzania.
- In-depth knowledge of East African destinations, particularly Tanzania.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and hotel management software.

Education and Experience:

- For Junior roles: Relevant education and/or entry-level experience in hospitality and reservations.
- For Intermediate and Senior roles: Proven experience in reservations, specifically in handling bookings related to Tanzania.

**Location**:
The position is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

**Salary**:
Salary will be determined based on experience. Applicants must have reservations experience in Tanzania.
