**Restaurant Reservationist - Concept Eatery - V&A Cape Town**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restaurant Reservationist to join our team for a fine new concept eatery at V&A.

Key responsibilities;
Reservation Management
- Maintain an organized reservation system and accurately record guest information and special requests.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests, addressing inquiries, and offering recommendations regarding menu options, seating arrangements, and special events
- Efficiently manage table assignments and optimize seating capacity to accommodate guest preferences while maximizing restaurant revenue.

Communication
- Liaise with other departments, including kitchen staff and servers, to coordinate reservations and ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed guest expectations and uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
- Identify opportunities to promote restaurant offerings, such as special menus, events, and loyalty programs, to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue
- Assist with administrative tasks, including maintaining reservation records, generating reports, and updating reservation software as needed.

You need
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reservation software and basic computer skills
- ** knowledge of dineplan, zomato, eat out etc platforms**
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
