Your Role**:

- The NKAM (Consumer) maintains a direct selling role with South African based key accounts in the Consumer Vertical as NKAM (Pipeline). - To develop the global and corporate partner consumer accounts by liaising with counterparts in other Regions, the Global industry champion, GV-K and all business field stakeholders. - Ensures that goals and objectives for each account in the Consumer Vertical are aligned with Dxb RV-K.**
Your Responsibilities**:

- Directly represents Key Accounts, engaging with the customer and Kuehne+Nagel networks to become the key resource to understand the organization, decision making process specific needs and to develop a partnership relationship.
- Conducts regular and structured review sessions with assigned customers for updates on customer strategy and priorities, adjustment of our value proposition, continuous improvement and innovation, as well as operational excellence.
- Proactively identifies new opportunities to increase the share of wallet with assigned customer(s), ensuring an attractive and sizeable pipeline and high closing ratio.
- Creates/updates Key Account Plans, defines strategic approach, value proposition & solution, positions (internal & external) Kuehne+Nagel on RFQs & tenders, partners with BUs to deliver attractive pricing and service.
- (Global only) Connects the virtual account teams ensuring true global customer representation via the KAM network and best practice sharing.
- Controls monthly performance (GP, volume, pipeline, DSO) and ensures immediate actions are taken in case of deviations (incl. timely / accurate reporting).
- Effectively hands over and transitions new business into operations to ensure that customer requirements and Kuehne+Nagel commitments are met.
- Business delivery against account plan
**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Have proven verbal and written communications skills.
- Management of teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Have proven industry knowledge of the assigned vertical.
- Have experience in the core transportation modes: Air, Sea and Road Logistics.
- Have conducted sales leadership workshops, MBR’s, QBR’s, whiteboard sessions with customers, or process review processes with global customers.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
- Moderate level of computer literacy
