We are a 3PL logístical ecommerce service provider with a national network specializing in complete warehousing and distribution services. We are looking for an effective East Coast Regional Manager to manage operational duties for our East Coast Region.

The East Coast regional managers key responsibility is to manage the ASUs in the East Region efficiently and effectively to maximize customer satisfaction, together with the efficient and effective management of the Nexus Fulfilment warehouses within the region.

The East Coast Regional Manager will report directly to the Head of Operations.

The incumbent in this position is expected to assist the Company in achieving its vision and mission. Customer focus, Company growth, and a willingness to assist as needed are expectations from all employees.

**Key Duties**:
**1. Remote Depot Management**
- Time and attendance management
- Day to day operational management activity against KPIs
- Reporting into the business on regions ASU performance
- Client relationship management
- Responsible for shrinkage within the regions ASU’s
- Responsible for the compliance to 5’s standards within the region
- Responsible for the ongoing quality recruitment within the region
- Responsible for training and competence assessment of all ASU storemen within the region
- Responsible for the compliance to business process for scanning and stock management within the region
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to client service levels within the region
- Management and follow up on service levels complaints and queries within the region
- Manpower and leave planning within the area
- Manage the disciplinary process in accordance with the labor relations act within the region

**2. Nexus Warehouse Management**
- Efficient management of all operational activities within regional Nexus Warehouses.
- Efficient and effective people management including time and attendance
- Ensure effective management of all warehouse activities is in place including but not limited to receiving, storing, counting, picking, packing and despatching
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce company operational policies and procedures
- Ultimately responsibility for the actual productivity and output of all warehouse operational activities namely Receiving, Inventory Management, Kitting and Despatching.
- Ensure effective and efficient utilization of all warehouse space according to operational requirements at the Nexus warehouses
- Ensure proper management all equipment utilised in the operation ensuring all are serviced, repaired, or replaced when required and within budget.
- Ensure proper management of all production materials including packaging within budget
- Responsible for driving regular development and improvement of operational processes and procedures
- Ensuring that the operational service levels are monitored and met daily
- Ensuring warehouse stock is managed to customer satisfaction and company standards
- Develop, train and manage the relevant warehouse managers and supervisors to achieving targets and customer service levels
- Conduct on going site audits to ensure compliance to SOP’s, processes and key performance indicators and management of outcomes accordingly
- Accountable for stock loss and stock accuracy within the region
- Compliance to 5s
- Compliance to health and safety within the depots
- General look and feel and upkeep to standard

**3. Customer Relations**
- Ensures that each customers’ service level requirements are met in a cost-effective manner
- Clear and concise communication with customers when required
- Build a sound professional relationship with customers where required

**4. Property and Asset Management**
- Housekeeping - ensure housekeeping standards are met
- Maintenance and repairs - 100% when required
- Ensure proper manage all Company assets such as furniture (including warehouse racking), tools and work equipment, computers, and other; as well as rented equipment or vehicles

**5. Security**
- Ensure all security measures are executed as per the Security Policies, Processes and Procedures are adhered to 100% at the
- Investigation of security breaches and transgression
- Management of the on-site security service providers and guards

**6. Distribution management**
- Distribution planning including both push and pull methodologies
- Planning and management of fleet movement in a cost effective and efficient manner
- Vehicle management is adhered to including vehicle checks
- Planning schedules and loads accordingly to ensure appropriate vehicles are used and client services levels are met

**7. Staff Management**
- Timekeeping and absenteeism
- Staff development and training, including cross-training
- Performance management
- Safe work environment - OHASA.
- Quality recruitment and selection of staff
- Management of the disciplinary process in the region
- Staff appearance - as per Company Uniform Standards and OHASA
