Computer literacy in Word, Syspro and Excel, and a high level of numeracy
A strong customer service orientation with the ability to develop strategic customer relationships
Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff at all levels
The ability to work according to strict deadlines
A professional telephone manner
Competent at independently planning and managing own customer service activities
A methodical, analytical approach, with fanatical right first time attention to detail
A pro-active approach with a view to implementing on-going improvements to customer service levels

**The function includes but is not limited to**: costing and quoting customers according to specifications, processing and follow up of customer orders, invoicing, reporting, and close liaison with sales consultants, customers and suppliers
