A full service Travel Company specialising in local and international travel, luxury accommodation and property management. They are a young and dynamic team of Travel Account Managers based in the buzzing city center of Cape Town. The team operates in a fast faced ever changing environment lead by an experienced and passionate Management team.

**The Role**:
The Financial Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer providing financial administrative support across a diverse portfolio with the key responsibility of taking ownership of all financial processing for the business. To succeed in this role you will need to be solution orientated with an expert eye for detail and the ability to work independently, efficiently, accurately and thoroughly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate all Company invoices (including local and foreign currencies) this must be
- Manage all supplier payments
- Execute daily and monthly financial processing via Xero Accounting system
- Assist in creation of departmental budgets
- Monitor budgets and company expenditure
- Compile monthly billings and commission report.
- Compile monthly expense and earning recons on rental properties
- Assist with financial year end preparation
- Provide ad-hoc business administration support to the management team
- Expense Controller
- Manage company cashflow
- Assist with monthly VAT submission and processing for VAT report

**Requirements**:
**_ Preferred skills:_**
- Accounting degree or accounting / bookkeeping course
- Microsoft packages (proficient in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Excel (intermediate)
- Xero (or similar accounting package)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and business writing)
- Attention to detail with excellent accuracy
- Business administrative skills
- Advanced planning and organizational skills

**_
Preferred Experience:_**
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

**AND / OR**
- Completed a relevant business, finance or accounting qualification (course, diploma or degree).
