Logistics Administrator

An advanced agricultural services business specializing in various precision farming solutions and plant nutrition products is seeking employ a Logistics Administrator/Assistant on a permanent basis. The Logistics Administrator will take full ownership of the logistics administration process and will work from the company’s Wellington offices.
**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:
- Following up with the relevant logistics companies to ensure shipments are delivered within agreed upon timelines
- Managing exceptions and finding timeous solutions
- Logging time sensitive collections on the relevant logistics company’s website
- Ensure all relevant parties are informed
- Dealing with queries (internal and with service provider)
- Administration of international sample shipments
- Following up on and communicating progress of international sample shipments
- Flagging and resolution of exception events
- Continuously improve current process and systems
**Requirements**:
- National Senior Certificate.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics Management/ Administration would be beneficial.
- Min 2 years logistics administration experience.
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
- Experience in the agricultural industry would be advantageous.
**Salary -** R10k to R12k p/month depending on experience
