**Main Purpose of Job**
- Ensuring supply meets demand (efficiency in procurement) Forecast accuracy
- Obtain the best quality service and improve customer service levels
- Maintain optimum inventory levels against stock days targets
- Facilitate the effective management of orders on a National Level

**Responsibilities**
- Liaise with suppliers in various categories to ensure that stock is available at the right quality, right quantity, right place, right time, right price
- Notify the GM on slow moving and / or redundant stock
- Analyse demand vs stock
- Review forecast, analyse and inform the S&OP & GM
- Availability of stock to the branches
- Inventory management
- Approve buying reports and RTP’s against Inventory
- Supplier contract and relationship management
- Replacment costs and controlling of GP%
- Quotations to branches
- Quarterly reports to National Procurement Manager
- Creating of new stock codes as per the Stock Code Request on Sharepoint**Inherent Requirements**

**Qualifications**
- Matric (Grade 12)
- National Diploma in Supply Chain Management

**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years buying / procurement experience in a managerial role
- Extensive experience in inventory control/management
- Knowledge of Equipment and Spares would be advantageous
- Experienced in Syspro
- High level of communication across all levels in the organisation
- Customer Service
