**Minimum Requirements**:

- Appropriate university degree and professional qualification
- At least 4 years teaching experience in English and Mathematics in a Primary School;
- Current Registration with SACE and valid clearance check(s);
- Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learning, however, special interest and further experience in this area will be advantageous;
- A dynamic, creative personality with strong interpersonal skills;
- A commitment to full participation in the extra-curricular activities of the school;
- Teaching experience within the IEB system;
- Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The duties and Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

- Prepare for, teach and assess beyond the requirements of the CAP’s Document and Requirements;
- Create a classroom atmosphere conducive to healthy, connective and where possible cutting-edge teaching and learning;
- Set, mark and evaluate class work, homework, assessments, examinations and provide regular and meaningful feedback to students/staff/parents;
- Moderate formal assessments and research projects;
- Monitor, and support pastoral care of pupils;
- Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School.
