Minimum Requirements:

  • Appropriate university degree and professional qualification;
  • At least 4 years teaching experience in Maths in Maths in Grades 6 and 7;
  • Current Registration with SACE;
  • Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learning;
  • A dynamic, creative personality with strong interpersonal skills;
  • A commitment to full participation in the extramural activities of the school;
  • Teaching experience within the IEB system is essential;
  • Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare for, teach and assess beyond the requirements of the CAP's Document and Requirements;
  • Create a classroom atmosphere conducive to healthy, connective and where possible cuttingedge teaching and learning;
  • Set, mark and evaluate class work, homework, assessments, examinations and provide regular and meaningful feedback to students/staff/parents;
  • Moderate formal assessments and/or research projects;
  • Monitor, encourage pastoral care;
  • Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School.
