Applications are invited for an energetic, creative, and innovative Fixed term Playschool teacher, who meets the below listed requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification, with ECD specialisation;
  • Experience working with children aged 14 months 2 years;
  • Valid SACE certification and police clearance;
  • Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and most importantly with young children;
  • Use initiative in your teaching and learning;
  • Have a good command of the English Language (spoken and written);
  • Strong computer skills, both for administrative purposes and ICT in the classroom;
  • Must have a warm and nurturing personality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for wholechild development of a class of Playschool children;
  • Planning and preparation in alignment with the School's Curriculum;
  • Comprehensive and continuous assessment and observation of each child's development;
  • Daily professional interaction with parents;
  • Close teamwork and collegiality within the grade.
