Locum Playschool Teacher

Applications are invited for an energetic, creative, and innovative Fixed term Playschool teacher, who meets the below listed requirements.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Teaching qualification, with ECD specialisation;
- Experience working with children aged 14 months - 2 years;
- Valid SACE certification and police clearance;
- Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and most importantly with young children;
- Use initiative in your teaching and learning;
- Have a good command of the English Language (spoken and written);
- Strong computer skills, both for administrative purposes and ICT in the classroom;
- Must have a warm and nurturing personality.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Include but not limited to:

- Responsible for whole-child development of a class of Playschool children;
- Planning and preparation in alignment with the School’s Curriculum;
- Comprehensive and continuous assessment and observation of each child’s development;
- Daily professional interaction with parents;
- Close teamwork and collegiality within the grade.
