Management and ownership of the IT helpdesk system

Call logging and follow up on behalf of the users

Distribute tickets to engineers and technicians

Assist with fieldwork as requested by technicians and engineers

Validations of IT team travel claims

Receive and direct support phone calls to appropriate support structure

Keeping track of all IT tasks

Assisting HR with on-boarding (the IT parts and setting up access to systems)

Managing the database of IT equipment, computers, and laptops.

Assist with general office administration.

Control and manage the issuing of IT equipment to staff

Taking minutes in IT related meetings
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years related administrative experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, Windows
- Proven, credible retail experience will be an added advantage
