**Senior Manager I: Ecommerce Fulfilment Optimisation Position Available at Large Retail Firm based in Sandton**

**Main Purpose of this Role**:
To plan, develop and cultivate new opportunities in supply chain while maintaining existing relationships. Collaborate and act as the liaison for internal departments while maintaining a professional working relationship with internal and external stakeholders. To provide guidance to key stakeholders on the continuous improvement of the eCommerce service and support workflows through collaboration and providing data around best practice fulfilment and delivery processes.

**Key Performance areas**:
**Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Engage internal stakeholders to understand specific objectives that need to be achieved.
- Define and develop plans to address the needs of the e-commerce B2C, B2B Market Place and Fulfilment teams.
- Serve as the one stop shop for B2C, B2B and Head Office Operations (internal stakeholders) within ecommerce by obtaining research, engaging with various stakeholders i.e. IT, Supply Chain etc. gather insights, create a framework and provide proposals on requests.
- Formulate an internal escalations communication platform to ensure that all relevant key stakeholder is kept informed.
- Engage and facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders as and when required.

**Relationship Building**:

- Build credibility, establish rapport and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Develop and maintain healthy and growing strategic relationships with internal stakeholders to drive internal enablement and adoption of strategic initiatives.
- Develop an in depth knowledge of how each partner’s business works to independently generate unique offerings, to assist in ensuring profitability.
- Build capabilities by means of managing vendor relationships.

**Research & Operational Execution**:

- Define and initiate the scope, objectives and dependencies for new projects and hand over to the Project Manager for implementation.
- Research and refine the requirements of new requests from internal stakeholders in order to achieve the objectives.
- Perform related operational support as assigned and when the need occurs.
- Continuously assess new opportunities and ensure standards are in place and reports and data is readily available for current projects.
- Keep abreast, through continuing education, of changes and new technologies in the related field of business.
- Collaborate and facilitate requests from internal stakeholders with regards to new projects.
- Prepare leadership reports for use in decision-making.

**Supply Chain Management**:

- Manage Supply Chain relationship to deliver required fulfilment solutions to support customer needs, channels requirements and product flows.
- Influence continuous improvement of Supply Chain operations by means of providing trend analysis, customer insights and feedback.

Advise Supply Chain on direction in order to build capabilities within required scope and timeframes.

**Risk Governance**:

- Stay informed about required compliance and governance requirements
- Implement and maintain internal control measures to minimize risk, in line with the limits of authority, as it pertains to fulfilment.

Ensure that good governance is applied to all activities, thereby creating an ethical environment.

**Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience**:
Qualifications:

- Degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management

**Experience**:

- Minimum 4 - 5 years’ relevant experience within a supply chain and e-commerce environment.
