Senior Manager, IT Business Relationship Management

The Senior Manager, IT Portfolio Management provides a direct link between the Information Technology Department, South Africa's Regional Business team, and the International Operations Group to support the organizational roadmap strategies.

The incumbent will develop partnerships using positive and collaborative methods and will be accountable for IT project delivery and portfolio management within the region.

This role will directly report to the Senior Director, IT Project & Portfolio Management at the Corporate Office, with a dotted line to the local Senior Leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities;
- Creates a collaborative partnership amongst IT leaders, South Africa's Operational teams, and project stakeholders.
- Manages, coordinates, and facilitates the planning of the IT project portfolio for the region.
- Acts as the main contact between IT Leaders, Project Managers, Business Units, and 3rd party vendors.
- Works with IT leadership to effectively deliver solutions that facilitate the Region in achieving its technology initiatives.
- Collaborates with business partners in the Region to provide oversight of projects/programs to ensure objectives are met.
- Will be the key voice to the Region to ensure initiatives are in alignment with the company's strategic imperatives.
- Provides transparency to the Corporate IT Project & Portfolio Department regarding new projects.
- Supports the intake process of IT projects via the Planview PPM System.
- Participates in business and/or customer meetings to ensure IT services meet all expectations.
- Facilitates joint planning with the business units in the early stages of projects, ensuring key stakeholders are identified.
- Meet with stakeholders to make communication about project complexities, issues, and decisions easy and transparent.
- Work with the IT resources to develop project plans.
- Prepares project updates and reports that support frequent and clear communication with the stakeholders.
- Acts as the escalation point for business development/project-related issues.
- Develop a deep understanding of the region’s business processes and ways IT can play a positive role.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

**Experience**: Required
- Experienced working with development teams. Experience managing small to medium IT projects and previous exposure to large IT projects. Demonstrated experience in managing business expectations and delivering support solutions. Facilitation skills that include requirement sessions, design meetings, progress, and status meetings.
- 3 year(s): Experience working in IT Project and Portfolio Management supporting areas in Information Technology: Application Development, ERP Development, or Infrastructure.
- 5 - 10 years: Experience in facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects based on management objectives.

**Education**: Required
- Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field
