**Purpose of role**:
Key responsibilities
**Updating bank reconciliations**:
Regularly update and maintain bank reconciliation records to reflect accurate financial transactions.
Review and cross-reference financial data from various sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances found during the reconciliation process.
**Updating overs and unders**:
Monitor overs and unders records related to CIT (Cash in Transit) bags.
Update records with precise information regarding discrepancies in funds, ensuring that all discrepancies are documented accurately.
Collaborate with relevant teams to investigate the root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
**Allocation of Funds**:
Allocate funds to appropriate accounts, projects, or departments based on predefined guidelines and instructions.
Ensure that the allocation process is accurate and aligns with established financial protocols.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure consistency in fund allocation practices.
**Accuracy of funds allocation**:
Perform thorough reviews of allocated funds to confirm accuracy.
Identify and rectify any allocation errors promptly, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of fund allocation procedures
**Documentation and reporting**:
Maintain detailed documentation of all allocation and reconciliation activities.
Generate regular reports summarizing allocation status, discrepancies, and resolutions.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on analysis of allocation and reconciliation data.

Willingness to work weekend shifts/after hours as rand when required.
**Qualifications and experience required**:
Must have a matric certificate.
A post-Matric qualification is beneficial.
3-5 years of relevant admin and analytical experience.
Must be able to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and intermediate computer literacy skills.
South African citizen.
Driver’s license and own reliable transport (beneficial).
