As a Human Capital Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping our organization's HR strategies and initiatives. 28. Strategic HR Goals:
- Collaborate with the HR team, executive leadership, and department heads to develop and implement strategic HR goals aligned with organizational objectives.
- Monitor progress and provide regular reports on key performance indicators related to HR objectives.
- Evaluate the impact of HR strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary.
28. UI19 & Terminations:
- Process UI19 forms for employee terminations in compliance with labour regulations.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure accurate and timely submission of UI19 forms.
- Coordinate and assist employees with unemployment insurance claims.
- Maintain records of UI19 forms and terminations for compliance and reporting purposes.
29. Study New and Existing Legislations and Advise Management:
- Stay updated on new and existing labour laws, regulations, and legislative developments.
- Conduct research and analysis to understand the implications of these legislations on the organization.
- Advise management on the potential impact of legislative changes and recommend appropriate actions or adjustments to ensure compliance.
30. WSP/ATR:
- Develop and submit the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report
(ATR) in accordance with SETA requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs and align them with the organization's strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the WSP and track progress towards training objectives.
- Ensure the WSP Detailed Report of Staff is updated with the relevant information and dates and available for capturing
- Keep sheet updated monthly to submit year end
- Ensure the Training Report for that period is obtained and available for capturing, information obtained from Training providers where applicable, LN and Inno
- Provide an updated Staff List from Payroll for capturing
- Provide an updated Termination list for capturing
- Ensure the correct Data Sheet with the following information: Salary, EE Salary
Amount, Report claimable amounts, Engagement date, Termination List, Title, ID,
Passport, Ethnic Group, Gender, Employee status: Snr, Middle, Jnr is available and up to date ready for capturing.
- Ensure we get the confirmation report that all information supplied was correct.
- Attend to all queries relating to the submission from WSP Authority
- Keep MTN Training up to date and add in monthly
31. Retention:
- Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to improve employee retention rates.
- Analyse turnover data, conduct exit interviews, and identify reasons for employee attrition.
- Collaborate with management to address retention challenges and implement targeted retention programs.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in creating a positive and engaging work environment that promotes employee retention.
