**Responsibilities**
- Serve customers by greeting, welcoming, directing them appropriately
- Sales/Money handling
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
- Maintains a clean and hospitable reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- All messages are to contain all pertinent information regarding the caller’s expectation of the person who needs to return the call
- Develop and maintain a system that provides knowledge of all staff movements in and out of organization on a real-time basis
- Supervising all cleaning staff in terms of their daily duties and expectations

**Requirements**:

- Minimum grade 12 required
- At least 3 years proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibility
- Motor trade receptionist experience is essential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- A high standard of professionalism
- Always well presented
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
- Experience working a switchboard
