**TRADE MARKETING MANAGER - SOUTH AFRICA**:
**Responsibilities**:
The De'Longhi Group is one of the world's leading players in small domestic appliances associated with the world of coffee, kitchen, air conditioning, and home care.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for building a premium in store promoter and brand ambassador team as well a superior in store presence. It includes aspects of product initiatives, shelving and merchandising, demonstration and promotion of Delonghi Group products. The aim is to build the best in-store demand generating organisation in South Africa and a superior in store consumer experience.
- MAIN OBJECTIVES:
- Delivering on monthly sales target as well as product initiative targets
- Excellent execution of product initiatives and brand/product merchandising standards in the stores ensuring correct product visibility and correct merchandising standards
- Ensuring distribution, execution and maintenance of both temporary and permanent point of sale (POS) materials
- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
- Recruit, train, retain and manage De’Longhi in-store promoters and brand ambassadors
- Manage, administrate GeoRep tool for promoter & sales team
- Coach and build capabilities of the team; manage and evaluate the performance of the team to deliver on the defined goals
- Set and deliver monthly/ quarterly / annual targets for the team according to company growth goals
- Execute product initiatives and in-store brand/product merchandising standards in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
- Feedback on execution of merchandising guidelines through brand ambassador team
- Interact with KAMs and Marketing team providing the following information: competitive activities and feedback on evolving trade environment, input to commercial plans
- Be the product knowledge expert and lead trainer; Responsible for product training cycles for the team and customer’s store staff (Inclusion of E-Learning)
- Rollout & usage of E-Learning platform through sales; promoter & brand ambassador team
- Become product expert, providing support to customer service teams on specific “How To” guides
- Manage De’Longhi presence in selected roadshows and exhibitions
- Manage Temporary POS Production and Distribution along with Merchandising Guidelines for specified POS by customer
- Manage Permanent POS Process: Site Visits; Production; Installation & Merchandising Guidelines as well as post installation maintenance
- Management of demonstration and display stock assigned to marketing for in store promotions and show requests.
- Weekly reporting to the Marketing Manager on business and store/customer status and the implementation of commercial plans
- Secure the confidentiality of any commercial information
- Collect and archive a complete documentation related to all budget spending
- Control and optimization of assigned budgets. Make sure no unauthorised over/under spend
- Ensure labour discipline subordinate employees; timeliness in carrying out tasks which flow from the Company's needs and the organization of the work process, make the most effective use of time
- Conscientious and timely settlement of the allocated funds and business expenses in accordance with the company procedures
- Taking care of by the company entrusted assets and tools.
