**PURPOSE**
The main purpose of the Head Project Management Office is to takes overall responsibility for the client collaboration, planning and, execution of activities to ensure successful delivery of BankservAfrica project management solutions and to ensure effective project communications for all projects delivered in South African and Africa Business Units. The Head-PMO is accountable for leading and shaping the selection, investment, prioritization, and execution of BankservAfrica projects. Lead a team to guide the successful delivery of programs and projects through the provision of strategic and operational support, including reporting, risk and issue tracking, quality control and benefits tracking and reporting

- Bank and Service Provider Project managers, business analysts and Test Managers

- Management and Executive Management
- Business Unit and Product Owners

- All staff
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Assessing current project management methodologies and provide recommendations on areas of improvement. Collect, consolidate and analyse program and project data to support effective decision making
- Establish, review and maintain a standard set of practices, processes, procedures, policies and templates for managing the EPMO and projects consistently and efficiently to reduce project-related risk and costs.
- Supporting the ongoing development and implementation of best practices within the EPMO in order to achieve corporate objectives. Monitor and report on compliance with established standards to ensure the organisation adheres to agreed policies and standards
- Ensure alignment between customer and business requirements in terms of successful project delivery.
- Develop and deliver EPMO services and support BankservAfrica project and program management capability across the organisation to reduce project related risk.

**QUALIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE**
- Project Management qualification
- PMP or PGMP certification
- Required computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Project Management Applications.
- Six Sigma or Lean designation is considered an asset
**EXPERIENCE**
- Experience in ICT Application development
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in PMO Management, Project and Program or senior management
- Experience in Payments and Banking industry will be an advantage
- Experience in leading a project management team
- Experience in budget management
- Experience in facilitating meetings and consultations with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
