**Accounting Administrator**
We are an established short-term rental agency based in Parklands. Our proactive and dynamic team manages a growing portfolio of short-term holiday rentals along the West Coast and Atlantic Seaboard.
We would like to hire an Accounts Administrator to join us and help manage the accounting of the various companies within the group, using a bespoke Accounting Program. This is a challenging job that will reward an individual who is self-motivated and hardworking.
Duties Include:
- Processing & Reconciling bank statements
- Reviewing and reconciling accounts and financial statements
- Processing payments to external partners
- Maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts
- Contacting clients and sending reminders (when necessary) to ensure timely payments
- Submit tax forms
- Identify and address any financial discrepancies found
- Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
- Strong data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- A degree/diploma/higher certificate in finance, accounting or a relevant field would be advantageous.
