The position reports into the Head of Growth.

**Key responsibilities / accountabilities**:

- Conceptualising ongoing promotional marketing campaigns to drive orders on the Mr D Food platform.
- Own, update and maintain the Mr D Food promotional calendar for Mr D Food, brands and third party initiatives.
- You will need to develop an in-depth knowledge of each our customer behavior in order to be able to craft meaningful promotional strategies.
- Own the merchandising portfolio to improve customer conversion within the Mr D Food app.
- Collaborate with the sales team to build and manage relationships with brands as well as identify cuisine themes, and other marketing opportunities that the business can leverage.
- Building relationships with brands and third parties, and identifying strong co-branding opportunities, and crafting "value exchange" agreements with these partners.
- Sourcing partnership opportunities with big brands in the market, and engaging in ongoing strategies to unlock the potential of those partnerships.
- Reporting the impact of your initiatives on a weekly basis to the Head of Growth.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- A 3+ year degree in business, marketing or communications
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years retail and marketing experience
- Experience working across marketing channels - Digital, ATL, Partnerships - with demonstrable results
- Proven track record of delivering projects
- Experience in an e-commerce environment
- Preferably 2 years' experience managing a team

**Skills, knowledge and abilities**:

- A strong strategic thinker who has worked with C-level executives - an ability to craft plans to create promotions and generate orders
- An analytical mind and an ability to craft a retail marketing strategy based on sales figures and targets
- An understanding of e-commerce and the key levers that drive sales in an e-commerce environment
- A highly driven individual who is motivated to drive meaningful sales revenue for the business through retail marketing initiatives including - promotions, product launches and co-marketing opportunities with brands and third parties.
- A person who is a very strong relationship builder and can unlock opportunities with brands and third parties.
- Ability to identify key advertising opportunities and translate these into implementable plans
- Motivated and capable to focus on and hit aggressive growth targets
- In-depth understanding of the advertising sales and tools
- Skilled in managing high-value accounts and managing relationships at an executive level
- Strong prioritization skills
- Fast learner and ability to thrive in a dynamic and high pace environment
- Systems thinker with the ability to understand and break down complex problems and relationships
- Creative and practical problem solving skills; solution-oriented
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and achieve a wide set of goals and objectives in a challenging and changing environment
- Resilience and perseverance to overcome challenges to achieve objectives
- A high level of integrity and respect
