Payroll Duties:

- Responsible for full payroll function (Sage VIP Premier), payroll processing, reconciliation, month end procedures, statutory requirements, reporting etc.
- Liaise with various entities to provide support in payroll related enquiries, leave, payslips, UIF forms and audits.
- Processing, administer and reconciliation of provident fund.
- Prepare and reconcile payrolls for IT3/IRP5 submissions.
- ETI processing, monitoring and reconciliation. Assist with SARS audits.
- Assist with financial year end audit preparation - payroll reports and leave provisions.

HR Duties:

- Assist in recruitment and selection process, advertising, interviews, reference checks and appointments.
- Ensuring service contracts are signed, processed correctly and filed.
- Assist with personnel training, learnerships and skills development administration - SETA's WSP/ATR submissions.
- Employment Equity submissions and administration.
- Assist with Compensation Commissioner claims and CompEasy.
- Liaising with staff and managing any ESS and leave related queries.
- Assisting HR Manager in preparing various HR reports.
- Assist with Social Development projects.
- Assist with office staff functions.
- Ad-hoc general HR duties.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant HR / Finance qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in a HR/payroll office.
- MS Office and Sage VIP Premier payroll/ESS experience.
- A good understanding of labour legislation
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Afrikaans & English)
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Willing to travel from time to time
- Experience in the agricultural sector will be an advantage
