An opportunity exists within one of our clients based in Cape Town with a brand and the organization values that are the driving force behind the development of their most valuable assets, their PEOPLE They have a dynamic team which gains valuable insight into design, production, manufacturing and operations while contributing to the success of the HR Team.

**HR Reporting**:

- Must be able to complete statutory reports for the business and the stakeholder within a dynamic environment

**Organizational Design**:

- Assist in designing and maintaining effective organizational structures.
- Essential to be able to collaborate with key stakeholders on the updating of job descriptions.

**Policies and Procedures**:

- Individual must be agile and continuously be able to be up to date with the Company’s polices and procedure
- Implementation of all policies and procedure need to be seen to.

**Training and Development**:

- Make sure that everyone is aligned and on par with the businesses goal when it comes to training and development.

**Selection and Recruitment**:

- Develop job descriptions
- Make sure that the budgets are aligned to the role requirement.
- Ensure that POPIA Compliance is maintained at all times.
- Manage the costs related to checks and aligned recruitment activities with employment equity plans
- Manage onboarding and probation periods effectively.

**Industrial Relations/Employee Relations**:

- Must be able to address employee grievances and provide necessary support.
- Provide guidance and representation in warning and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with the Labour Relations Act (LRA).

**Performance Management**:

- Support managers in handling disciplinary and misconduct issues.
- Oversee probation management and champion KPI conversations.
- Collaborate with the Training Manager to ensure staff development and competency.

**Employee Wellness**:

- Promote employee wellness initiatives.
- Collaboration with stakeholders are essential to implement wellness programs.

**Employment Equity**:

- Manage employment equity reporting and plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment equity regulations.

**Payroll**
- Must understand Payroll and administer when required
- Overseas salary benchmarking and sectoral compliance.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Sound knowledge of Employee Relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or experience in Human Resources with a graduate qualification in business/law/human sciences.
