Key responsibilities

**Customer assistance**: Help customers find products, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on their needs and preferences.

**Product knowledge**: Being knowledgeable about the store's products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers.

**Sales transactions**: Processing sales transactions, handling payments, and ensuring accurate pricing.
Develop contact with potential customers in the industry by cold calling and face-to-face interactions in a retail environment.
Form new and continue existing relationships with clients, maintaining phone contact and addressing issues or problems when they come up.

**Inventory management**: Keeping track of product stock levels, restocking shelves, and informing management of inventory needs.

**Visual merchandising**: Arranging and displaying products attractively to encourage sales and enhance the store's appearance.

**Customer service**: Resolving customer complaints, addressing returns and exchanges

**Technology use (e-commerce)**: Utilising e-commerce software and tools to process orders, update product listings, and track customer data.

**Loss prevention**: Monitoring for theft or fraudulent activities and following store security protocols.

**Product returns and exchanges**: Processing returns and exchanges per store policies.

**Training and product knowledge**: Staying updated on product changes, promotions, and sales techniques through training provided by the store or e-commerce company.

**Customer feedback**: Collecting and providing feedback to management regarding customer preferences and product requests.

**Sales reporting**: Generating sales reports and maintaining records of transactions.
**Requirements**:
Previous sales experience
Must have matric (Grade12)
Excellent ability to communicate in writing or verbally in English
Friendly and personable with others
Shopify experience
Lightspeed POS experience
An interest in photography and film will be beneficial.
