Sherbet Agency is a leading digital marketing agency that drives impactful and innovative campaigns for clients across a variety of industries. We're looking for a dedicated Digital Research Analyst to join our team.
Role Description
This role is designed for someone who is excellent at analytics and providing research-based solutions, excels in organisational tasks, and thrives in a multifaceted position that encompasses both client engagement and executive support.
Duties
- Consult with our clients and/or Account Managers to understand key business and marketing objectives and challenges.
- Plan, implement and manage the gathering and extraction of meaningful data that will drive key digital marketing strategy decisions, in line with business objectives.
- Design, execute, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across various digital platforms like search engines, social media and display networks.
- Provide weekly reports that identify and address key challenges, by presenting clear, actionable recommendations.
- Create clear research processes and methodologies to extract, test and benchmark data for specific clients and document findings and recommendations into presentable formats.
- Present findings and recommendations to Management and/or clients as required.
- Identify potential trends and opportunities that will aid in establishing a strong and highly competitive digital presence across relevant platforms and markets.
- Collate research into industry market intelligence, while creating a knowledge base of key insights that will establish the company as a thought leader in digital marketing trends.
- Work with Management and Account Managers to ensure effective execution of digital marketing strategies across all channels are in line with competitive analysis and trends.
- Any other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in research, of which online research is essential and includes the use of META, Google AdWords, Google Trends, Social Media Insights and related tools.
- Skills: Strong business or entrepreneurial acumen and be comfortable interacting with and presenting to clients at an executive level. Exceptional organisational skills, proactive, with the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills, both email and phone. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable with various online project management tools, and digital platforms.
- Qualities: Attention to detail, the capability to maintain discretion and confidentiality, and flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing organisation.
- Advantageous: Valid SA Driver's license and own car.
- Inherent: No criminal record.
