About our client:
Africas largest manufacturer of secure physical access control products, offering a host of solutions, ranging from turnstiles and revolving doors to vehicle barriers and boom gates. A full research, design and development team is able to assist our clients from project conception to the final on-site installation phase.
Purpose of the job:
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve growth by providing guidance, training, mentorship, and implementing strategic sales plans to meet quotas and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of Sales Department
- Develop a business plan for sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Design and implement sales action plans to expand customer base and strengthen market presence.
- Foster partnerships with key stakeholders and manage customer relationships.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, setting individual and team targets.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and adapt to competitive changes.
Customer Satisfaction
- Address escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Build long-lasting customer relationships by understanding and addressing their needs.
People Management
- Guide, mentor, and train the sales team.
- Develop team skills through motivation and product knowledge education.
- Conduct performance reviews, assign leads, and track individual KPIs.
- Host weekly training-focused sales meetings and ensure team punctuality and performance.
Team Effectiveness
- Participate constructively in team meetings and provide actionable solutions to identified problems.
- Cultivate relationships and create consultative conditions to promote collaborative success.

- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior sales managerial role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Salary R45,000.00 Basic + Great commission (+- R20,000.00 R30,000.00 Performance Based) + Company Car + Petrol Card + Company Cell & 13th Cheque
