Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to provide essential support to the Head Construction Manager and the project management team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of a prestigious development project in Stellenbosch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project documentation, including contracts, reports, and permits.
  • Maintain project files and ensure compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate meetings, site visits, and communication between the construction team, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Help manage project timelines, track milestones, and monitor daily activities on-site.
  • Ensure health and safety documentation is up to date and support the team in maintaining a safe site.
  • Provide general administrative support to the development team, handling correspondence and office tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in project administration, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an administrative or project coordination role within construction or property development.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, with 50% time spent on-site and 50% in the office.
