About the role: We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Civil Engineer in our accomplished water resources management team in Tshwane and Cape Town at an Associate level. Role Responsibilities: Based on your diverse professional experience and technical knowledge, your responsibilities will include: Integrated water resources planning and management Prefeasibility/feasibility studies Master planning Hydrological analysis Systems analysis Water demand analysis Stormwater analysis Information management systems Spatial analysis Data analytics Facilitation of meetings and workshops Training and capacity building Bid preparation and technical report writing Leading a range of projects across southern Africa, Africa, and the Middle East, you will display strong commercial acumen and will be comfortable managing multi-disciplinary project teams. Fulfilling a leadership role in the water resources management team and the broader water market within Zutari, you will take responsibility for winning work, growing client relationships, and managing resources towards achieving the Water Market goals as well as the overall Zutari strategy. Qualifications: BSc Eng/BEng in a relevant civil engineering discipline complemented by a relevant postgraduate qualification Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) At least 10 years postgraduate experience in civil engineering Skills and Experience: Comprehensive project management, quality assurance, and project governance experience Effective planning and time management skills Ability to lead, mentor, and manage people with strong interpersonal and networking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work consistently We believe that a diverse workforce is key to our business success.
