This role provides exposure to strategic initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership forums within IAM Distribution. It offers the incumbent a platform to demonstrate leadership potential, strategic thinking, and execution capability, positioning them for future advancement into senior roles within the Risk Optimisation and Product House Integration domain. Key Responsibilities Lead and support initiatives that drive risk sales performance and channel enablement. Promote and position the Lifestyle Protector suite with Sales Leaders, Broker Consultants, IFAs, and SBFC Financial Planners. Drive business development efforts and unlock value at a national level by identifying growth opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and enabling scalable impact across regions. Identify and articulate propositional gaps in competitor offerings and provide actionable insights. Represent Risk Optimisation in cross-functional forums and strategic engagements. Track and report on key initiatives, market trends, and competitor activity. Consolidate field feedback and market intelligence to inform Product House strategy and roadmap. Collaborate with the Product House on proposition enhancements and innovation. Job-Related Skills Strategic Sales Enablement – Ability to translate product value into compelling sales narratives and tools for intermediaries. Business Development Acumen – Skilled in identifying growth opportunities and unlocking value across national and regional markets. Market and Competitor Analysis – Proficient in evaluating competitor propositions and identifying gaps to inform Liberty's positioning. Stakeholder Engagement – Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate with Sales Leaders, IFAs, and Product House teams. Data Interpretation and Insight Generation – Ability to use market intelligence, performance data, and feedback to drive actionable insights. Presentation and Facilitation – Confident in delivering presentations, facilitating discussions, and representing the Risk Optimisation function in strategic forums. Project and Initiative Management – Capable of leading and supporting initiatives that enhance risk sales performance and channel effectiveness. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field (required). A postgraduate qualification such as an Honours degree, MBA, or Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (advantageous). Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or an equivalent professional certification. RE5 certification (Regulatory Exam for Representatives), particularly relevant for intermediary engagement. A FAIS-compliant qualification aligned with Category I and II product advice. Proven experience in the life insurance or financial services industry, with a focus on risk product development, distribution, or intermediary engagement. Exposure to product strategy, market intelligence, or business development within a competitive, IFA-driven environment.
