Role Purpose

The Specialist: Planning and Optimisation is responsible for managing site planning, delivering an optimised radio network, and resolving customer queries. This role focuses on ensuring the highest level of network quality and performance through proactive analysis, optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and optimisation of 2G/3G/LTE/5G sites (including indoor, greenfield, rooftop, mini, and macro sites).

  • Ensure optimal network performance by monitoring network statistics through relevant tools and implementing corrective actions.

  • Proactively analyse and recommend capacity dimensioning requirements across all network elements.

  • Analyse and verify in-depth network problems by performing detailed traces.

  • Investigate and rectify all network failures identified through regular drive testing routes by outsourced companies (e.g. Umlaut).

  • Conduct cluster optimisation of the existing network to maintain and improve performance standards.

  • Network Experience Dashboard (NED) Report – covering all network performance elements.

  • Green Zone & Drive Test KPIs.

  • NNPS Deep Detractors performance.
