Purpose Statement Responsible for developing and implementing the Recoveries strategy as part of the broader BSC Divisional strategy, ensuring it supports and delivers the organisational goals. Ensure alignment of the Recoveries strategy with the overall Credit management strategy. Oversee the effective execution of the strategy through a comprehensive Recoveries business plan, providing effective leadership and management of the functions within the Recoveries department. Experience 10yrs+ management experience in an increasingly senior roles in a credit environment with responsibility for Recoveries. Proven experience of using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives. Experience of managing large teams Experience of successfully leading, planning and managing Recoveries operations and initiatives Influencing and providing strategic input and regular exposure to Executive level engagement Qualifications (Minimum) Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Commerce Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) Masters Degree in Business Administration Knowledge Knowledge and experience of the Credit life cycle/value chain. Expert knowledge of Recoveries and recoveries best practice Commercial, business and financial principles and practices and acumen. Building and developing effective teams. Credit management systems. Governance and credit management principles Business products, processes, policies and systems Fundamental IT systems and data analysis Quality principles and practice Leadership, mentoring and coaching methods and practices.
