Our client is currently looking for an **Head of Information Security.**

This is a **remote role.**

**Key Responsibility Areas**:

- Responsible for all information security, system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Develop and implement the information security strategy and ensure that it aligns with the overall
- business objectives of the company.
- Develops, plans, and manages the Information Security Program to include policies, procedures,
- and standards.
- Define the Information Security plan to resolve gaps identified from audits, risk assessments or
- vulnerability scans.
- Lead and manage a team of information security professionals.

**Requirements**:

- **10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role**:

- Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices, as well as regulatory
- requirements related to information security.
- Experience with standards and best practices such as POPIA, GDPR, SOC2 compliance
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
