Our client is currently on the lookout for a Credit Manager to join their team permanently in Germiston.

Duties:
  • Oversea debtors team
  • Manage credit and collections function
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
  • Leadership and training innovation
  • Work closely with the sales and finance departments to align credit policies with business goals.
  • Assist in the negotiation of payment terms with customers.
  • Ensure all credit activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Stay up to date with changes in credit management best practices and legal requirements.
  • Implement measures to mitigate potential credit risks.
  • Monitor economic trends and industry developments that could impact credit risk.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 10 Years experience in a managerial role
  • BCom Accounting or BCom or Financial Accounting degree
  • Ability to handle stress/ pressurised environment
  • Management experience is essential
  • Proficiency in accounting softwares (e.g. AccPacc, Greatplains and PowerBI)
