PowerX (Pty) Ltd , a prominent leader in the energy trading industry dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions in a dynamic and evolving sector, seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join their team, as Operations and Business Development Support. This position will be based in Rosebank, Gauteng. Duties will include (but not be limited to): Administrative Support : Manage all daily administrative tasks for the Operations Manager and Business Development Executive; Ensure all documentation, reports, and records are updated and maintained accurately; Assist in proposals, client follow-ups, and operational process implementation Consumer and Generator Engagement : Serve as the main point of contact for consumers and generators; Respond to inquiries, deliver presentations, and maintain strong relationships to drive business growth Process Implementation and Monitoring : Collaborate on process design and improvement for better efficiency; Identify and suggest improvements to current workflows and administrative systems Data Management and Reporting : Prepare reports, analyze data, and provide insights using Excel and other tools including in-house software programs; Track the progress of proposals, projects, and operational tasks Additional Tasks : Stay updated on industry trends, manage RFQs, and occasionally travel for meetings or project oversight; Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and processes All other tasks related to this position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; Prior experience in a similar role, within the energy industry; Knowledge of the energy industry, including market trends and regulations is essential; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; Ability to create and deliver professional presentations to various audiences; Valid drivers license.
