Job DescriptionThe Jewellery DC is seeking a dynamic and driven Controller to join our high-performance logistics team. Responsibilities Managing the output of Supervisors and Clerks across multiple teams Monitor and guide output and workforce planning, and scheduling Driving teams to meet and exceed daily and weekly performance targets Planning and managing the flow of information and merchandise across and through teams within available processing space Liaising with line managers and business units on allocations and priorities Managing performance, training, and development Ensuring compliance with Group Logistics Best Operating Practice (BOP) standards Identifying and proposing solutions for operational inefficiencies Summarizing daily activities into weekly reporting and incorporating key performance areas Qualifications and Experience Matric (Grade 12) essential Having a post-matric qualification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics & Warehouse Management / Retail Business Management would be advantageous. 3 – 5 years of leadership experience in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment Proven experience managing teams and driving performance through others Strong understanding of DC operations and logistics best practices Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement and development Proficiency in MS Office applications, i.e., MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint Working knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (eg, WMOS) Behaviours Forms, develops, and leads a team of individuals toward achieving a common team objective Applies business insights in order to drive organizational objectives Conveys information and communicates ideas in a clear, concise, and impactful manner Consistently makes timely and informed decisions Understands and navigates dynamics created by processes, systems, and people Sets goals and takes focused action to achieve desired outcomes and deliver results Takes accountability and ensures others are held to account on agreed-upon performance targets Assess and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of work processes Develop plans and prioritize initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act. #J-18808-Ljbffr
