Qualifications and Compliance Requirements: Minimum three to five years relevant work experience in Short Term Insurance. Personal Attributes: Ability to function independently and under pressure; assertiveness; continuous learning; commitment; customer-driven; excellent communication skills; flexible and adaptable to change; goal-oriented; high attention to detail; honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior; results-oriented; self-starter / proactive / ability to use own initiative; team player. Responsibilities: Securing New Business: Capture and collate client and risk details received from Sales; quote and underwrite in line with Insurer Underwriting Guide and mandates; approach market for quotes; provide sales with quotes from insurers; ensure all FAIS documents are completed by client and sales; arrange cover with insurer upon client/sales confirmation; process policy documents and raise debits where applicable; email new business pack to AE / client. Renewals: Manage renewal listing, claims experience, and ratio; review FAIS documents, policy details, and advice; send renewal comparison and schedule to insurer; negotiate terms; assist with market exercise; confirm renewal with client; update renewal information; process policy documents and raise debits; send renewal to client and AE; ensure all relevant documents are attached for domestic renewals. Amendments and Cancellations: Process amendments and cancellations in line with guidelines; communicate with AE and insurers; send updated schedules and cancellation notices; prepare refund requisitions. Portfolio Management: Process endorsements and cancellations; manage own area of control ensuring deadlines, SLAs, and procedures are adhered to. At All Times: Ensure all tasks are attended to before leave; be punctual; meet deadlines; maintain accurate records; adhere to procedures and core values; perform ad hoc duties; be a team player and follow backup arrangements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
