Site Supervisor Position National manufacturer of mobile computerized racking systems has an opportunity for a Site Supervisor with a RED SEAL Electrical qualification with PLC Programming and minimum 5 years relevant experience to join their dynamic team in their Cape Town office. Duties & Responsibilities Liaise with clients, in order to maintain and improve service levels Perform site inspections independently and report findings Do repairs and maintenance of new and existing systems Manage and plan new installations Respond to breakdowns Train assistants as well as supervise assistants, as and when necessary Travel outside of Johannesburg on short notice Completion of breakdown and planned work in accordance with a technical job card system Writing reports following inspections Drawing up quotes Complete project work, in accordance with project schedules Desired Experience & Qualification Have recognisable technical qualifications - RED SEAL Electrician Minimum 5 years working experience as a RED SEAL Electrician Solid PLC Programming experience is non-negotiable PLC experience advantageous Be experienced in fault finding Must be able to work unsupervised Problem solving ability Must be physically and medically fit and able to work in the cold at -20° Celsius, for varying lengths of time Have the ability to work at heights Be able to read drawings (experience in reading electrical drawings is advantageous) Be prepared to work weekends, if and when required Be disciplined and pay attention to detail Following procedures is of utmost importance Ability to perform administrative duties Be able to complete project work, in accordance with project schedules Have the ability to work with a diverse cultural mix of people Valid Code EC or EC1 driver’s licence Valid and updated passport Clear criminal record Key Attributes Trustworthy & Honest Reliable Sober habits Self-assured Ability to work unsupervised Clear, effective and efficient communication skills Team-player Package & Remuneration Salary: R pm CTC dependent on experience and qualifications Company van will be available for company use only, i.e., attending callouts, sites etc. A laptop, PPE and other tools/equipment are provided Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07h30 to 16h30, Friday: 07h30 to 14h00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
