Role Description Reporting to: Managing Director – DGC Africa Travel: Frequent national travel within South Africa, periodic travel to Zambia, DRC, and Zimbabwe, and potentially South America. This is a strategic sales leadership role responsible for driving growth across Southern Africa and supporting DGC’s global expansion. The ideal candidate is technically strong, commercially driven, and comfortable building relationships at senior levels across heavy industry. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Drive sales growth across South Africa, Zambia, DRC, and Zimbabwe. Develop and execute market penetration and sales strategies. Lead negotiations with key industrial clients. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored refractory solutions. Technical Excellence Work closely with R&D teams to develop customised refractory solutions. Provide consultation on refractory selection, installation, and performance. Support product development and improvement initiatives. Ensure optimal performance of installed solutions and after‑sales support. Business Development Identify growth opportunities across all major industrial sectors. Build and maintain long‑term relationships with decision‑makers. Represent DGC at industry events, exhibitions, and technical conferences. Provide competitor insights, pricing intelligence, and market trends.
