Main Job Purpose:

The Workplace Coordinator is responsible for implementing strategies to ensure effective learner workplace management, leading to high retention and improved absorption rates by host entities. This role ensures compliance with policies, practices, processes, and procedures related to learner recruitment and workplace management.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent

Project Management Certificate (advantageous)

Advanced knowledge of MS Office

Minimum of 1 year experience in a learnership environment

At least 3 years experience in workplace placement

Duties & Responsibilities:

Capture and file learner details from application to absorption, including tracking post-exit

Maintain up-to-date host information and databases

Ensure compliant use of LMS and document management systems, including Google Drive

Adhere to document, information, and learner record safety and security

Ensure adherence to quality and reporting requirements

Allocate resources and ensure learners have the tools and equipment needed

Ensure host employers meet OHS requirements

Conduct assessments and interviews for learner profiling

Track and manage learner placements, ensuring reputable workplaces and readiness according to rollout plans

Facilitate learners'' onboarding, address HR issues, and act as a liaison between host employers and the company

Address learner challenges and ensure reasonable accommodations for disabilities

Conduct mentoring and coaching sessions, review learner progress, and manage attendance records

Engage with stakeholders, build networks, and promote the company in the local community

Report on learner workplace management and maintain accurate records on the LMS system

Competencies & Skills:

Strong computer literacy and excellent administrative skills

Proficiency in report writing and attention to detail

Ethical and trustworthy with sensitive and confidential information

Organized, professional, and good interpersonal skills

Ability to work with strict deadlines and excellent communication skills

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to engage with various recruitment platforms

Capable of analyzing and interpreting CVs to match qualifications with positions
