This hands-on role involves managing credit sales performance, maintaining relationships with hardware merchants, and identifying new business opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, implementing strategies, and providing training and support to merchant partners and credit champions, requiring frequent travel within the assigned regionMinimum Requirements:Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle (essential)Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales environmentExperience in hardware, lending, or FMCG sales (preferred)Minimum 1-year qualification in a relevant fieldAbility to travel extensively within the assigned regionStrong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independentlyDuties and Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Growth:Execute the annual sales strategy and plan for the allocated regionIdentify and onboard new hardware merchant partnersOptimize credit sales performance of existing merchant partnersUse data and reports to track sales performance and implement improvementsMerchant & Partner Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with hardware merchants and credit championsProvide training, support, and development to improve merchant performanceConduct regular site visits and in-person meetings to assess business needsEnsure partner compliance with company policies and regulationsSales Performance & Reporting:Monitor and report on sales targets, KPIs, and regional performanceAnalyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvementImplement corrective actions for underperforming merchantsProvide monthly sales reports to managementMarketing & Promotions:Support the execution of marketing initiatives and promotional campaignsEnsure proper brand representation and visibility at partner locationsAssist with the distribution of marketing materials to hardware merchantsTeam & Stakeholder Management:Lead, develop, and motivate credit champions to enhance sales performanceEnsure clear targets, goals, and performance tracking for credit championsProvide ongoing training and coaching to improve sales effectivenessAddress disciplinary issues and performance concerns where necessaryAct as the primary point of contact for stakeholders in the regionOperational & Compliance Support:Assist new merchants with onboarding and system setupEnsure merchants receive adequate training and incubation supportMaintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsHandle and resolve customer complaints and operational challengesPlease do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.Kontak Recruitment Disclaimer:Equal opportunity: All backgrounds are welcomed, with no bias.
