Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and market penetration in asset tracking and management software.
- Align the business units goals with the companys overall vision and objectives.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in asset management and adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Sales Growth and Revenue Generation:
- Drive sales growth by setting ambitious targets and developing effective sales plans.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities and successful deal closures.
- Foster relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and potential partners to expand the client base.
- Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to enter new markets and sectors where asset tracking software adds value.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to craft and execute market-specific campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Product Development Alignment:
- Work closely with the product development team to align offerings with market demands and client expectations.
- Provide feedback on product performance and advocate for enhancements based on customer input and market research.
- Ensure the business unit stays ahead of technological advancements and integrates innovative features into solutions.
- Customer-Centric Focus:
- Champion customer success by ensuring that the solutions meet client needs and deliver measurable value.
- Implement robust processes for customer onboarding, support, and retention.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization to continuously improve service delivery.
- Operational Excellence:
- Establish efficient processes and systems to optimize the performance of the business unit.
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring profitability and adherence to budgetary goals.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team dedicated to achieving the units objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or leadership roles within asset tracking, software solutions, or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and market expansion.
- Strong understanding of asset tracking technologies, software platforms, and industry applications.
- Experience in aligning business strategy with product development and customer needs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and performance management.
