Job Purpose

Managing the business unit, servicing the Blood and Transfusion Portfolios as well as other key portfolios such as Bioscience, Pathology / RDT. Optimizing growth and profitability within the unit.

Required Learning/experience

  • Bachelor of Science (preferably in Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Commercial qualification preferable
  • Marketing / Brand management experience in the medical/pharmaceutical Industry Essential
  • Knowledge of or working with SANBS an advantage
  • Knowledge of Project management an advantage

Key Job Outputs

  • Drive top-line growth and increase market share by developing and implementing effective Category, Product Portfolio, and Brand strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Develop and manage effective execution of campaigns and projects. Including the planning and execution of successful product launches and promotions.
  • Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Monitor and optimise marketing performance through data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
